This past weekend, my best girlfriends treated me to one last fling before the ring.
We popped the bubbly because I’m getting a hubby.
And all those other obligatory bachelorette sayings.
I might be biased, but I firmly believe this will go down in history as one of the best bachelorette parties ever.
We started the day at this adorable pool cabana at our hotel in Uptown Charlotte. We sipped champagne and sangria and snacked on french fries and chicken wings.
It was an incredibly relaxing afternoon leading up to the nighttime festivities.
And it only took about five minutes for one of my bridesmaids to injure herself. She’s fine and did not require stitches.
How cute is this shirt the girls had made for me?
If you have hung with me for any amount of time, you know that I am a complete Disney nerd.
I can’t wait to wear my Minnie Mouse bride shirt on our Walt Disney World honeymoon (Disneymoon) in December.
My maid (or mouse) of honor.
And my matron (also mouse) of honor and baby mouse. Seriously, how freaking cute is this shirt?
After a few hours at the pool, we retired to our hotel room for some bachelorette party games.
And a little more champagne. Cheers!
Then we got ready and headed out for a night in Charlotte.
Our first stop was dinner at Enso Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar in the Epicentre. The food was delicious, plentiful, and just what we needed before the shenanigans commence.
After dinner, we headed to Howl at the Moon to hear live music by the dueling pianos and sip some of the bar’s famous bucket drinks.
When we were ready to dance (and dance hard), we migrated to Whisky River — a local favorite nightclub owned by NASCAR’s Dale Earnhardt Jr.
I danced, and danced, and danced — which is exactly what I wanted to do.
At the end of the night, we (managed by my pregnant and sober matron of honor) poured ourselves into an Uber and went back to our hotel for some much-needed sleep.
The next morning was all about Waffle House, naturally.
Now I’m going to get sentimental and sappy. I don’t know how I got so lucky with such an incredible group of friends. These women are the most selfless humans I know, and I am abundantly thankful to have each of them in my life.
My bachelorette party was fun, drama free, and exactly what I hoped it would be. Nobody got out of control or did anything dumb to ruin the night for the rest of the group.
It is crazy to me that we have been planning this damn wedding for more than a year. For so long I felt like it would never be here, but next week I will be a married woman. Mind. Blown.

I love the t-shirts. Where did they have them made?

Thanks, Kim! My maid-of-honor had them made by a friend of hers, but she doesn’t have any Etsy shop or anything like that 🙁 However, I found these on Etsy and they are very similar https://www.etsy.com/listing/595796185/bachelorette-party-shirts-brides-mouse?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=bride%27s%20mouse&ref=sr_gallery-1-1

Hi! I’m trying to plan a bachelorette party in Charlotte, and love all your suggestions! Do you mind sharing what hotel you all stayed at with the pool cabana? It looks dreamy!

Hi! Thanks for reading! My girls did an amazing job planning my bachelorette party. We stayed at the Sheraton in uptown. The pool and cabana were absolutely dreamy, just like you said! And the rooms were nice and spacious … perfect for lots of bachelorette games, drinks, and getting ready for a night out. I hope you have fun planning and have even more fun at the party!
