Happy {almost} spring, friends!

I don’t know about you, but I am bursting with excitement for the warmer days we’ve been experiencing here in Charlotte, NC. We were in the 80s for most of the second-to-last week of February, and I don’t hate it.

All of this sunshine and my upcoming trip to Southern California had me wishing for a refreshed warmer-weather wardrobe, and the timing was perfect to schedule another Stitch Fix.

In my note to my stylist, I mentioned that I will be traveling soon and would like to see some shorts and/or dresses with this Fix. Also, I’ve been Pinning a lot of flowy tops lately to give her an idea of the style I’m interested in right now.

Now that I am on my eighth Stitch Fix, I can definitely say that the shipments have improved and are more tailored to my style thanks to consistent and open feedback from me to my stylist. {MORE: How To Get The Best Fix Possible}

Here’s what I got with my most recent Fix:

Tarie Cold Shoulder Bell Sleeve Blouse by Skies Are Blue

Tarie Cold Shoulder Bell Sleeve Blouse by Skies Are Blue

Size: M
Price: $58

This top is definitely my style with its floral print, bell sleeves, and cold shoulder design. It is made from a thicker material that feels durable — which justifies the higher cost — and it is lined, so no see-through fabric. It will be perfect for spring and even summer.

Verdict: Keep

Willa Distressed Fray Hem Denim Short by Just USA

Willa Distressed Fray Hem Denim Short by Just USA

Size: 8
Price: $44

A good pair of denim shorts is a closet staple for every southern woman, and these are my new favorites. I love the frayed and distressed look, but I am also crazy about the length (not too short, not too long) and the fact that they are mid-rise. Plus, they are very comfortable and look great with the Tarie Cold Shoulder Bell Sleeve Blouse.

Verdict: Keep

Johnson Hacci Tie Front Knit Top by Nine Britton

Johnson Hacci Tie Front Knit Top by Nine Britton

Size: M
Price: $46

I knew as soon as I removed this top from the box that I would keep it. It is incredibly soft and lightweight, making it perfect for spring here in Carolina. I paired it with my favorite pair of jeans for a laid-back causal look, but it also looks great with the Willa Distressed Fray Hem Denim Shorts above. I have a feeling I will get a lot of wear out of this shirt.

Verdict: Keep

Evie Ponte Knit Skirt by Crescent

ACS_0027

Size: M
Price: $39

My stylist actually took this skirt directly from my fashion board on Pinterest. She saw that I Pinned it recently and decided to include it in this Fix. I adore the scallop hem and royal blue color. However, it is much more form-fitting than I prefer or care to wear to work. I was going to return it, but because it is the only piece I planned to return and Stitch Fix gives you a 25-percent discount when you keep all five items, it actually works out cheaper for me to keep it and just exchange it for the next size up.

Verdict: Keep, but exchange for different size

Tula Brushed Knit Dress by French Grey

Tula Brushed Knit Dress by French Grey

Size: M
Price: $48

Stitch Fix Style NoteThis dress is right up my alley. I was immediately attracted to the pattern and the soft, stretchy material. My stylist said she included it because it has a halter neckline similar to the little black dress I kept from my last Fix, and she thought it was flattering on me. I didn’t notice that until I read her note where she points it out, but now I see it and have to agree. Thanks, Cara!

When I put on the dress, my immediate response was to style it how I would for work or a date night. I love how flawlessly it pairs with a denim jacket or looks belted to create a natural waist.

My denim jacket is from Old Navy

Verdict: Keep

The last item in my Fix is part of the new Stitch Fix Extras service. Stitch Fix recently launched Extras to make finding intimates easier. Extras includes camisoles, shapewear, tights, underwear, bralettes, bras, and socks.

Free People Bralette

I tried the Free People Galloon bralette, and while I like how it paired with the Johnson Hacci Tie Front Knit Top, I decided that I am just not a bralette kinda gal. Therefore, I did send this piece back.

Want to order Extras, too?

1.
Schedule your next Fix

2.
Choose the Extras you love. Add them to your Fix and they’ll be sent to you along with your five stylist picks

3.
Add or remove Extras. You can edit your selection any time before your Fix is styled

4.
Check out as usual. Only pay for the Extras you want to keep and send back the rest

Remember: Shipping is free both ways; Your $20 styling fee can go toward any Extras you purchase; The 25-percent discount only applies to your five stylist picks.

As you can see, I ended up keeping every piece (except the bralette), which has only ever happened one other time. I am very pleased with the quality and the price points of this Fix. But, most importantly, each piece made me feel beautiful.
