I don’t know if it’s because my maternity leave is officially over and my days spent fully devoted to Jack without worrying about work have reached a screeching halt, but the thought of him being our rainbow baby has been on my mind a lot lately.
For those who don’t know, a rainbow baby is a child born after the parents experience a miscarriage, stillbirth, or death of a baby.
This time last year, after losing our first pregnancy, I didn’t think I would ever get the opportunity to be a mom and experience such joyful days like those I’ve had at home with Jack over the last 12 weeks.
