I love every part of planning a Walt Disney World vacation. It’s true — from the moment we book a Disney trip I am in full blown prep mode. Dining reservations? Only the best. Fastpasses? Got ’em. Cute and comfy park fashion? But of course.

We are about two months out from our next WDW vacation (our first with Jack and our first time back since 2018), and I am currently working on our packing list. Mostly, I am scouring the internet for some on-brand fashion staples I can create a Disney capsule wardrobe with. I want to maximize my wear for the pieces I pack for myself.

Here are five items and three pairs of shoes I am packing for our October Disney vacation.

Striped T-Shirt Dress

This $15 dress can be worn by itself (with bike shorts underneath so you’re not flashing other park goers on rides) or layered with any of the tops I mention below.

Bike Shorts (with Pockets)

Bike shorts are versatile and comfortable, making them an essential piece to my Disney wardrobe. Wear them under a dress like I did above or toss on an oversized t-shirt and call it good.

High Rise Mom Shorts

I love a good pair of high rise jean shorts and these give me major 90s mom vibes.

Mickey Mouse T-Shirt

I sized up in this T for an oversized fit. This makes it easier to tie in the front when I layer it over the striped dress, and I like the way it looks tucked in to my mom shorts above.

Toy Story Sweatshirt

Perfect for cooler Hollywood Studios evenings, this Toy Story sweatshirt is adorable. Toss it on over the striped dress or wear it with either pair of shorts.

Crocs

I shared recently on Instagram that Crocs are my new favorite shoes for walking around Disney. They are comfortable, light, and dry fast.

Athletic Shoes

A good pair of supportive and comfortable athletic shoes are a must for Walt Disney World. These are the shoes I’ve had for the last year and plan to pack in October.

Keds

My Keds have been on my Disney shoes list for years, and I still stand behind them. Again, going for the 90s mom look here. Am I succeeding?
