We have been in our new home for nearly two months now and I have yet to hang any family photos. If you know me, you know that having our pictures framed and on display is one of my favorite ways to create a homey environment.

Yesterday, I took the day off to recoup from our weekend camping trip, and in the middle of a restful and relaxing afternoon I decided to bust out the gallery wall I have had on my list. My images were already framed and waiting to be hung, so it only took me 20 minutes to get them on the wall.

Such a quick and easy project that totally transformed our upstairs family room!

I am kind of obsessed with how it turned out, too.
To help visualize the space I taped pieces of cardboard to the wall. This helped me get a rough idea of spacing and determine whether or not I had enough frames. I broke in my laser level and used the toothpaste trick to ensure that my nail holes were in the right spot. Other than that, I just eyeballed the spacing between each frame.

I used these $18 frames from Target and printed my photos through Mpix. Their print quality is unmatched!
